Measurement-based methane reporting is scaling across the global oil and gas sector

OGMP 2.0 is on track to deliver measurement-based methane reporting for nearly one-third of global oil and gas supply by 2030.

A recent OGMP 2.0 analysis forecasts how much oil and gas will be reported at the highest data quality level, Level 5, in the coming years. Level 5 reporting requires reconciliation of source-level emissions with site-level data, providing the highest level of data quality currently available in the sector.
